Rebyte Renew lets you sell your used iPhone or MacBook to us, and buy a certified refurbished device from us. These terms cover both. They sit alongside our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and Warranty Policy.
Selling your device to us (buy-back)
Your quote is an estimate until inspection. The price you see online is based on the condition you tell us. It is honoured only if the device matches that condition when our expert inspects it at pickup. Prices shown are indicative and may vary slightly after inspection.
Inspection at your doorstep. Our expert checks the device in front of you — screen, body, functions, battery health and whether the screen/parts are original. If the actual condition differs from what you selected, we will show you the revised price and the reason.
You are free to decline. If the revised price isn't acceptable, you keep your device. There is no fee for a declined pickup.
Payment on acceptance. Once you accept the (revised, if any) price, we pay you on the spot by UPI/bank transfer and take the device.
Ownership & data. You confirm the device is yours to sell and is not stolen, lost, or under any loan/EMI lock. We perform a secure data wipe after purchase, but please back up and sign out of your accounts (Find My, iCloud, Apple ID) before pickup — we cannot buy a device that is still locked to an account.
Accessories & bills (box, bill, charger, warranty) add value only if you actually have them; declaring them without providing them will change the price at inspection.
Buying a refurbished device from us
Rebyte Certified. Every device is tested in our own repair lab, graded (A/B/C/D), and listed with its real grade, battery health and any cosmetic notes. The photos and description reflect the actual unit.
Warranty. Each refurbished device carries a Rebyte Certified warranty (period shown on the listing, typically 6 months) covering functional defects. Physical/liquid damage after delivery, and normal battery wear, are not covered. See the Warranty Policy.
GST — margin scheme. As a dealer in second-hand goods we invoice under the GST margin scheme (Rule 32(5)): GST applies to our margin, not the full price, and no input tax credit is passed on. Your invoice states this.
7-day return. You may return a refurbished device within 7 days of delivery for a full refund if it is faulty or not as described, provided it is returned in the same condition with all accessories and no new damage. To start a return, cancel from your order page or contact support.
Cancellation & refund. You can cancel a paid order any time before it is dispatched for a full refund to your original payment method. Refunds are initiated immediately and typically reach your account in 3–5 business days.
Pricing & availability. Each unit is one physical device. If it sells first, your reservation is released. Reservations left unpaid are released after 30 minutes so others can buy.
Service area
Doorstep pickup and delivery are offered across our Chennai service zone. For addresses outside the zone we may arrange a courier instead of same-day doorstep; we will confirm before collection/dispatch.
