Who we are
Rebyte is a Chennai-based doorstep mobile, laptop & PC repair service and custom PC lab, founded in 2024. We started with one belief: getting a phone, laptop or computer fixed shouldn't mean handing it to a stranger at a counter and hoping for the best. So we brought the repair bench to your door — and we do the work in front of you.
Our registered premises and lab are in Sowmya Nagar, Perumbakkam, Chennai 600100, where our custom PC builds are assembled and bench-tested and where board-level diagnostics are done. From there, background-verified technicians travel across Chennai to repair devices at customers' homes and offices. We are one registered business serving many areas — not a chain of shops.
What we do
We handle the full range of everyday device care, plus custom PC building — the two verticals we're known for:
- Phone & tablet repair — iPhone repair, iPad and Android phone repair: screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, water damage and more.
- Laptop & MacBook repair — MacBook repair and all-brand laptop repair: displays, keyboards, batteries, hinges, and lab-grade logic-board and motherboard diagnostics.
- Desktop & PC repair — diagnosing PCs that won't boot, are slow, overheating or crashing, plus part replacement and OS setup.
- Custom & gaming PC builds — custom PC builds and gaming rigs assembled and tested to your budget and use-case, from budget builds to high-end workstations.
- PC upgrades — RAM, SSD, graphics-card and cooling upgrades that make an existing machine faster instead of replacing it.
Most repairs are done doorstep across Chennai. For addresses outside our doorstep zones — and for cities we don't yet cover — we offer free, insured pickup & drop: we collect the device, repair it at our Chennai lab, and deliver it back.
How we're different
Most repair experiences ask you to trust a black box. We built Rebyte to remove that leap of faith:
- Work done in front of you. On doorstep repairs, the technician opens and fixes your device while you watch — nothing happens out of sight.
- A written quote before any work. You see the exact price up front and approve it before a single screw is touched. No surprises on the bill.
- Pay after approval. You pay once the job is done and tested — or, for pickup & drop, once you approve the quote. Zero advance on most repairs.
- Genuine-grade parts. We use genuine and OEM-grade components, and every repair carries an up-to-12-month warranty.
- Background-verified technicians. The person who arrives at your door is vetted, trained and identifiable — important when you're letting someone into your home.
- Lab-grade board diagnostics. Complex logic-board and motherboard faults go to our Perumbakkam lab for micro-soldering and component-level repair, instead of a blanket "replace the whole board" upsell.
